Jay developed his experience through the assistance of spirituals and the spiritualist church. He gave readings in public and private to give hope and guidance to those that asked and required it. His mother, who was also gifted, influenced him on how to use his gifts in a positive manner. He especially enjoys helping those who need to find a brighter future and leave the murky waters they feel they inhabit.

Jay finds his gifts assist him to help many others in his charitable works. He says he's always felt that everyone knows the answer to many of their questions, the key is to get it out into the open, so the seen can be planted and they can grow.
